Welcome to the Tonbridge Line Commuters website. We are a voluntuary organisation looking after the interests of rail passengers in the Tonbridge area, specifically covering Tonbridge, Hildenborough and Paddock Wood stations, and are the largest passenger organisation of its kind in the south-east.
Whilst we are totally independent, the pressure we can bring to bear on the train operators, local bus companies, local and national government helps ensure a better deal for the travelling public in the Tonbridge area, and we have had some notable successes in the past in dealing with issues.
Anyone is welcome to join, and you certainly don't need to be a regular commuter, we work on behalf of anyone who uses the trains or buses in our area. Membership is very reasonable, and there are a range of benefits. This includes two newsletters a year and access to a committee actively working on your behalf. Please see our membership section. With major disruption affecting our services while London Bridge station is redeveloped, there has never been a better time to join. The more members we have, the more pressure we can exert to make sure we get a decent service.
Our AGM will be held at 19:30 on Tuesday 24 May 2016 at the Forsyth Hall, Bradford Street, Tonbridge. We are expecting representatives from both Southeastern and Network Rail, and there is plenty of time for questions. All our members are welcome and encouraged to attend.
